We’re likely all familiar with the famous casinos of Las Vegas, the French Riviera, and the up-and-coming Macao, but there’s always more thrilling games to find around the world. One of the often overlooked regions for gentlemen like ourselves that enjoy games of chance is Oceania. Australia and New Zealand each have quite a few stellar resorts that are well worth a visit, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love getting a chance to take a little journey ‘down under’ every now and then?
Unbeatable odds on having a fabulous time at 3 of our favorite casino resorts in Australia and New Zealand
- Crown Melbourne
- If we don’t mention the absolutely enchanting city of Melbourne itself and it’s wonderful inhabitants, then the best thing about the Crown has got to be the sheer scope of this property. The Crown Towers feature three hotels with first rate spas and suites to retire to and relax after a hard day of gaming. Of course the fourteen high-end bars and restaurants that cater to virtually any taste don’t hurt either. We highly recommend enjoying a meal at Koko and Conservatory as they are both equal parts breathtaking venues and mouthwatering menus.
- SkyCity Auckland
- If New Zealand is more your speed, the no worries, SkyCity is about as far from disappointing as you can get. The facilities deliver on quality gaming and world-class accommodations, but in typical fashion for the country, there’s so much more to enjoy. The Sky Tower offers the chance to sit 220 meters high above the city while playing high stakes poker, having a few drinks, and if that isn’t enough to get you excited, then you can just jump off. Great rooms, games, food, drinks, and even bungee jumping make this a truly unique and unforgettable casino.
- The Star Sydney
- The lovely ocean-side city of Sydney is a great place to wash ashore for many reasons, but The Star is quite a beacon to lure you in on its own. The massive property features numerous restaurants and some of the finest hotels in the country. Flying Fish is great for enjoying the fresh regional seafood and if you’re looking for something a bit more traditional then The BLACK Bar and Grill is one of the ritziest steakhouses in the city. Booking a suite and spa visit at The Darling is well worth the expense and catching a show at The Lyric Theatre needs to be on the to-do list as well.
